The Cambodia Bac II 2026 examination has officially kicked off across all 25 provinces and the capital. As the 2025–2026 academic year comes to a close, thousands of high school students entered testing centers nationwide under strict oversight from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS).

Ministry reports confirm that 151,238 candidates registered for the Cambodia Bac II 2026 exams this year. Specifically, 37,445 students selected the science track, while 113,793 students chose the social science track. In addition, the opening morning recorded a low absence rate of just 0.85%, which highlights strong candidate turnout nationwide.
A total of 151,238 candidates (including 84,735 female students) registered to sit for the Bac II exams this academic year.

- Day 1 Morning Absences:
- A total of 1,294 candidates (474 females) were absent on the first morning, representing an overall absence rate of 0.85%.

Health Measures During the Cambodia Bac II 2026
Overall, student safety remains a top priority throughout the testing period. Medical teams quickly responded to 96 student health reports during the opening morning. Consequently, healthcare staff provided dedicated rooms and prompt care so that recovering students could continue testing safely.
Student health remained a top priority. Out of 96 candidates who reported medical issues during the initial morning session:
- 11 candidates were unfortunately forced to drop out due to illness.
- 24 candidates sat for their exams in separate, isolated rooms.
- 27 candidates received medical assistance for dengue fever.
- 2 candidates were treated following traffic accidents.
- Additionally, 19 exam proctors experienced health issues.
Thanks to on site medical teams, all recovering students were monitored closely and allowed to proceed with their tests once stabilized. In light of these conditions, MoEYS encourages all test takers to prioritize proper rest, maintain adequate nutrition, and practice good hygiene throughout the exam period.
